RARENESS

RPF: I always like to know what inspires people to do what they do, so how did you get started in the TV Industry?

CA: It was God's plan for my life is my only explanation. I went to broadcasting school with a desire to be on the radio. Years ago a gentleman asked me to host "Late Night Gospel Mix TV" in Dallas/Fort Worth and since then, my broadcast jobs have been in television.

RPF: That's amazing! I know it’s not always easy, what motivates you to keep going?

CA: My desire to please God.

RPF: Love it! God is so amazing and faithful! Okay, so this is one of my favorite questions within the interview, it’s always interesting to learn new things about people. Would you like to share a fun fact about yourself?

CA: I am very playful. I like to see people smile and I love to laugh.

RPF: I love it, during these times, we need all the laughter and smiles we can get! So, what's next for Ms. Cynthia Austin?

CA: Right now I am really enjoying this moment. The Cynthia Austin Show (Digital) is the show I feel I was prepared for and put here to do. I am enjoying talking to people from all walks of life. From suburban moms who started at home businesses to ex-offenders who have turned their lives around. Many years ago I was told that God was going to use me to usher in a new wave of people. I believe that time is here. When people come on the show and I hear their stories, see their preparation and observe their passion for what they do; then I know I am in the right place, doing the right thing. Using my gift to serve God and His people. I don't know what's next for Ms. Cynthia but if it is better than where I am at this moment...I look forward to sharing my "next" with you.

RPF: Wow, that’s amazing… it’s not considered work, when you love what you do! You have a very unique job, where you’re not only able to be a listening ear, but you’re also able to pour into the people you connect with as well. I love it!

CA: Yes!

RPF: Well, this concludes our interview, any encouraging words or tips for someone who's trying to get into the TV Industry?

CA: Now is the time to go for it if you are serious about it. Don't allow the "no" to keep you from getting to your "yes."

RPF: There you have it people, if you’re trying to break into the industry, just keep knocking on the doors and don’t allow a “no” keep you from getting your “yes”

Stay in the know and see what exciting guest Cynthia has on her show next, it could be you!

Keep shining Cynthia!
